Download FishPilot from the App Store, open the app, and sign in with your Apple ID. That’s it. No forms, no passwords.

FishPilot works best with a connection for real-time regulation checks and AI features. Core fish identification works offline once the app is loaded.

Location powers everything, from detecting which state and water body you’re fishing to showing the exact regulations for where you’re standing. You can always set your location manually instead.

Take a photo of your catch and FishPilot’s AI analyzes body shape, coloration, fin structure, and scale patterns to identify the species. It cross-references 630+ species in its database.

Our AI achieves high confidence on most common game fish. Accuracy depends on photo quality. Clear, well-lit photos of the whole fish produce the best results.

You can correct any identification, and your feedback helps improve the model. Always verify with local resources if you’re unsure about a species.

Free users get 5 identifications per day and 12 per month. Premium members get unlimited identifications.

Environmental conditions for your area, season alerts, and basic time-of-day patterns are available to all users.

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find FishPilot and tap Cancel. Your access continues until the current period ends.

Sign in with the same Apple ID and your subscription restores automatically. If it doesn’t, go to Settings in the app and tap “Restore Purchases.”

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your fishing locations are stored securely and never exposed to other users.

Yes. You can delete your account and all associated data from the app’s Settings screen, or visit fishpilot.app/delete-account.

Try force-quitting and reopening the app, then check for updates in the App Store. If issues persist, email support@fishpilot.app with your device model and iOS version.
